WE BELIEVE IN POWERFUL PLAY
1. People of all ages learn best through play.
2. Play builds connections between people and is how we build social bonds. It strengthens relationships between families, communities and even countries.
3. Upcycling is awesome! Play requires imagination and willingness to take a risk, not fancy equiptment.
PopUpPlay is led by Cofounders, Folasshade Laud-Hammond and Jennifer Brevoort. We'd love to meet you.

About the event
Wacky Ways to Paint is a family wellness workshop grounded in research: brief daily creative activity lowers cortisol, builds impulse control, and strengthens emotional regulation in children and adults. Families explore surprising, stain-free techniques — blow, bubble, marker, and water painting — and build a personal 15-Minute Maker Moment practice to carry home. Every family leaves with supplies and a custom scratch-off activity bingo card to keep the practice going.
