PopUpPlay is seeking enthusiastic and creative individuals to join our team as part-time contract Play Facilitators and Experience Designers. As an Experience Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and inclusive family-friendly environments, facilitating activities with children and their families, and ensuring the successful execution of events from setup to cleanup. This position is a part-time consultant position, with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour for every event.
Responsibilities:
Create engaging and inclusive family-friendly environments at PopUpPlay events.
Facilitate activities with children and their families, ensuring a fun and interactive experience for all participants.
Modify activities based on the age, interests, and abilities of the families joining our events.
Execute strong events from setup through clean up, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Be available to facilitate events on weekends, evenings, and occasional weekdays at various locations.
Thrive working outside in various weather conditions and within different communities throughout Greater Philadelphia.
Reliably navigate transportation to events all over Philadelphia.
Qualifications:
Enjoy working with families and children and have a passion for creating joyful experiences.
Be flexible and able to adapt to different activities and situations to ensure the smooth running of events.
Arrive on time and communicate any lateness or absences well in advance of event dates.
Have, or be willing to obtain, clearances to work with children.
Believe in the power of play to build relationships and foster learning.
Experience in the arts, education, out of school time and/or event planning and execution a plus.
