Are you looking to elevate your organization's summer programming? PopUpPlay partners with schools and organizations around the country to build excellent camps. ​Campers spend time building friendships, learning new skills and reinforcing academic content. Activities can take place inside or outside and we expect to keep young people moving and playing all day long.

We provide curricula, materials, training, coaching, technical assistance and sometimes staffing to districts of all sizes. Click 'Book Your Classroom Event' to start a planning conversation.

Below are a few examples of PopUpPlay camp themes.
Fantastic Forts
Explore all the ways to design a hideout. We'll build miniature and life-sized forts, pillow forts and glow forts and even get started on a living fort.
All PopUpPlay camps include traditional camp activities and crafts as well as theme-based projects.
Scientific Artist
Explore the science of art. Projects will change each day and focus on a set of artsy materials and scientific concepts. These may include designing your own:

Scribble bot (a coloring robot)

Gravity powered or air powered car, and

Pendulum painting
All PopUpPlay camps include traditional camp activities and crafts as well as theme based projects.
Slime Camp
Gooey, slippery, stretchy and so cool! Join PopUpPlay for a full week exploring the art of making slime and other related gooey creations. Campers will make multiple kinds of slime, explore oobleck, design a temporary lava lamp and even construct brand new bouncy balls.

Make Things Fly
Kites, airplanes, rockets, hot air balloons and catapults! Campers will explore concepts of lift and gravity while designing all sorts of flying machines. Build with us!

Dollhouse (Architecture) Camp
Calling all future architects, builders, designers and model makers! Build and decorate your own dollhouse or superhero lair complete with action figures and furniture. Creativity is encouraged! Campers can design anything they'd like: a home, office building, gas station, museum or superhero hideout. Campers will build, paint, and construct all elements of their house.

Maker Space
This camp is all about building! Campers will design life sized vehicles, break building height records, construct marionettes, make wearable wings and even design found object costumes for a cardboard fashion show.

Superhero Camp
Discover your inner superhero! We'll make costumes, create superhero identities, and work on tangible ways to make a difference in the world. Campers will also be challenged in our superhero training camp to write and send invisible ink messages, conquer home grown obstacle courses and much more.
